Annual Conference

NJAMC attempts to support our mission through offering opportunities for professional discourse and training. One of our primary means for offering these opportunities is through our annual conference, co-sponsored with the New Jersey Association for Adult Development and Aging (NJAADA). The partnership which has developed between our two divisions has elevated the quality of our conference each year, as new topics, new presenters, and new ideas are exchanged regarding multiculturalism, diversity and developmental approaches to counseling and education at the individual, family, group and community level.

The annual conference also offers the additional benefit of providing continuing education hours to counselors which will meet the new licensing requirements for at least 3.0 CE hours in cultural competency for each bi-annual re-licensing period.
