NJAMC operates as an affiliate division of NJCA and its membership body consists of a variety of counseling professionals, licensed professional counselors and student counselors. Our Leadership committee, composed of volunteer NJAMC members, comes together approximately 6 to 8 times a year to engage in conference preparations, newsletter writing, and discussion on the current state of culturally-centered mental health services in NJ.
We currently operate under the budgetary support of NJCA, in combination with support raised through donations, professional membership fees, and the annual NJAMC conference.
